It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our friend and colleague, the brewer,Jeremy Moss.
Jeremy died on Friday 4th Sept. He had been fighting cancer but had always remained so positive and cheerful and right up to the last few days was taking an active part in the brewery. He was top brewer, top technical bod, top admin man and all round top bloke- he will be missed so much.
His cv reads like a march through the history of brewing from the 1980s beer brewing revoluition onwards
First with Bruce’s Brewery in London followed by short spell at Earl Soham Brewery Suffolk then onto college for some academic learning then to Gibbs Mew Brewery, followed by time at Elderidge Pope then Courages and onto Wichwood Brewery where he developed the famous Hobgoblin beer amongst others. latterly he came back to Suffolk and instigated the new Cliff Quay Brewery and amalgamated it with the Earl Soham Brewery- Of course we shall continue brewing the great beers he created all with such inspirational names- Roaring Forties-Tumble Home-Tolly Roger-sea Dog- we will brew these in his name to honor his memory
RIP Jeremy
